My Fellow Miners!
I have to report that a Judge has upheld the Moratorium on Dredging within the State of Oregon. His findings were based on passed laws controlling and outlawing Hydraulic Mining. We all agree that Hydraulic Mining was an ugly way to recover heavy metals. However, near as I can figure facts had nothing to do with his decision as to why they wish to outlaw dredging. Salem nor Washington DC cares about the truth. PLP & MMAC are playing the Washington Game. Both see large amounts of money coming their direction. First from mining the miners and then from the Federal Government. They wish to be our spokes persons in Salem and Washington. Just to finish this, understand that the head honcho for MMAC is also attached to Green Peace and the Sierra Club.
It's time to start calling and writing letters.
We will have a new governing body in January 2017 I hope!

It is very important that you take the time to write a letter to your Senator or Representative and let them know how you feel about all of the anti-mining bills that are being brought before them. It don't have to be elaborate. Just a few lines expressing your displeasure if they vote FOR instead of AGAINST these bills. Please don't use threats or vulgar language. Also be sure and write that you want your letter included in the public record.
Here is a list of your Senators and Representatives:
