There is a petition to get the attention of Attorney General Pam Bondi concerning our problem of being able to use motorized equipment to look for gold while cleaning our streams and rivers of lead, mercury and other man-made items. Welcome to North Bend Prospectors, Inc., a family-oriented small miner's non-profit 501 C (3) corporation dedicated to the enjoyable, relaxing, and potentially profitable activities of rock hounding, metal detecting, gold prospecting and mineral hunting. You've come to the right place! "But I've never tried prospecting before..." or "Not all my family members are interested in prospecting...". Not a problem. We have folks who have prospected for years who are more than happy to show you how. Whether you have a gold pan and want to know how "it works" or you've just bought a dredge and need some instruction on how to use it, we at NBPI are there to help. For those family members not really interested in prospecting but enjoy the outdoors there are other activities available during our outings such as cooking, hiking, fishing, bird watching, observing nature or just taking a nice snooze in the shade of a nice-smelling pine tree.

Our membership is way down from a couple years ago. We need to ensure that we work at recruiting new members.

Membership dues are due!

Single $25.00

Family $35.00 all kids under 18 years of age

If you are a first time new member and want a panning set-up, the cost will be

$55.00 per member

$65.00 per family

IF YOU WISH TO BUY A PANNING SET-UP KIT, THE COST IS $30.00

If you a sign up now, your membership will carry over til December 31, 2025

 

It is very important that you take the time to write a letter to your Senator or Representative and let them know how you feel about all of the anti-mining bills that are being brought before them. It don't have to be elaborate. Just a few lines expressing your displeasure if they vote FOR instead of AGAINST these bills. Please don't use threats or vulgar language. Also be sure and write that you want your letter included in the public record.
